Day 1

Paro
1. Airport pick-up and hotel check-in

Tashi Delek and welcome to Bhutan. The only international airport in Bhutan is situated in Paro (2262m), Western Bhutan, and our local agent will meet and greet you there. After that, settle into your lovely hotel and relax while you adjust to the time difference.

Day 2

Paro
1. Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Bhutan's most recognizable landmark is (Taktsang Goemba, Takhtsang Lakhang, Paro Taktshang), which was initially constructed in 1692. Standing 900 meters above the Paro Valley on a cliff face, it is recognized as a piece of global cultural heritage. Legend has it that the Buddhist guru Guru Rinpoche spent three years, three months, and three days in a cave, where he meditated, after riding a tigress to the monastery's present location. It is currently among the most popular tourist destinations in Bhutan and a revered holy place that every Bhutanese person should visit at least once in their lives.
